Saddam Haftar, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, received a high-level Turkish delegation on Tuesday led by Ali Onanir, Director General of the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, accompanied by Turkey’s Ambassador to Libya, Govin Beigch.
The meeting took place within the framework of growing cooperation between Libya and Turkey and aimed to further enhance mechanisms for coordination and collaboration on issues of mutual interest.
During the talks, both sides discussed developments in bilateral relations and explored opportunities for expanded cooperation in political, diplomatic, and strategic fields. The visit reflects the commitment of Ankara and eastern Libyan authorities to maintaining open channels of dialogue and broadening areas of mutual understanding.
