In an emotional ceremony embodying the spirit of perseverance and hope, the University of Darna held its first graduation since the devastating flood disaster that struck the city. This event, attended by key government figures and Libyan society, marks a crucial step in the region’s recovery and rebuilding process.
The ceremony was presided over by the President of the House of Representatives, Counselor Aqila Saleh, alongside the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Marshal Khalifa Haftar, and Libya’s Prime Minister, Dr. Osama Hamad, among other high-ranking officials. The presence of these authorities emphasized the significance of the event not only as an academic celebration but also as a testament to the success of the national strategic project to rebuild Darna after the natural catastrophe.
