Benghazi’s Benina International Airport celebrated the arrival of the first Turkish Airlines flight after years of absence, symbolizing a new chapter in Libya-Turkey relations. Bushkiwat emphasized the significance of this milestone in “facilitating the movement of citizens and strengthening ties between nations.” Bilal Akshi expressed his satisfaction at resuming operations in Benghazi, announcing that the airline will connect the city to over 300 international destinations with an initial schedule of three weekly flights.
