Ms. Maria Do Céu Silva Monteiro, Minister of Justice of Guinea-Bissau, made an official visit to the offices of the Government of Guinea-Bissau in the municipality of Adeje, Tenerife. During her visit, she was received and guided by Mr. Mohamed Jamil Derbah, Special Advisor to the Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau in Spain.
During the visit, Minister Monteiro had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the operations and facilities of the offices, as well as interact with the team responsible for the representation and management of governmental affairs for Guinea-Bissau in the region. Mr. Derbah highlighted the importance of this visit to strengthen the relationship between Guinea-Bissau and Spain, emphasizing the commitment to continue working together on various areas of mutual interest.
The Minister stressed the significance of having a strong representation in Tenerife, which facilitates greater collaboration and coordination between the two countries. She also expressed her gratitude for the warm reception and her satisfaction with the work being carried out by the team at the Adeje offices.
