As part of a humanitarian assistance effort by Libya. A cargo plane transported aid, following the instructions of the Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Armed Forces, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar, in coordination with the President of the Libyan Government, Dr. Osama Hamad. This support is a gesture of solidarity from the Libyan people to the Chadian people, in response to the devastating floods that have severely affected several regions of Chad.
Libya-Chad relations have significantly improved in recent months, particularly after the visit of the President of the Libyan Government to Chad at the end of August. During this visit, several memorandums of understanding were signed, and bilateral ties between the two countries were strengthened. The Libyan delegation included representatives from the General Command of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, as well as government ministers and advisors.
