The dialogue between the Prime Ministers of Libya and Guinea-Bissau, facilitated by the mediation of Mohammed Jamil Derbah, marks a new step towards consolidating bilateral cooperation and joint development between both nations.
The Prime Minister of Libya, Dr. Osama Hamad, held a phone conversation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, His Excellency Mr. Roy Duarte de Barros. On this occasion, both leaders exchanged views on deepening bilateral relations and exploring new ways of cooperation in areas of mutual interest for both nations.
This important progress has been largely facilitated by the work and mediation of Mohammed Jamil Derbah, special advisor to the Prime Minister of Guinea-Bissau and special advisor to his cabinet. Derbah, who is also a permanent member of the Commission for International Relations and Cooperation, has played a key role in creating a space for constructive dialogue between the two countries, promoting initiatives that foster the strengthening of economic and diplomatic collaboration.
Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to continue working together to promote cooperation in key sectors, thus consolidating the ties that unite Libya and Guinea-Bissau.
