Osama Hamad inspects the works alongside the Director of the Development Fund and senior officials, highlighting the boost to the city’s tourism infrastructure

Libya’s Prime Minister, Dr. Osama Hamad, on Sunday led an inspection tour of the Tipisti Hotel in Benghazi, one of the key maintenance and development projects aimed at raising the standards of the city’s tourism sector.
Accompanied by the Director General of the Development and Reconstruction Fund, Eng. Belqasem Haftar, as well as several ministers and state representatives, Hamad reviewed the progress of the works, which include a full modernization of rooms, suites, and hotel services.



Among those present were the Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy, Awad Al-Badri; the Minister of Communications and Information, Salem Al-Darsi; the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Abdul Hadi Al-Hawij; the spokesman of the Ministry of Interior, Major Faraj Aqeem; and the Minister of State for Communications, Khaled Al-Saadawi, among others.
During the visit, the Prime Minister emphasized that such projects are part of a comprehensive plan to develop infrastructure and services in Benghazi. He also praised the role of the Development Fund in accurately and efficiently supervising the works, which aim to bring the hotel in line with international standards.



For his part, Eng. Belqasem Haftar stressed that the Fund continues to implement major projects across different sectors of the city, with the goal of strengthening tourism services and consolidating Benghazi’s status as a leading regional destination.
