In the education sector, the official delegation also inaugurated the new Sabha University campus, including student housing facilities, as well as the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of Commerce and Political Sciences, following the completion of extensive maintenance, rehabilitation, and modernization works. These projects were implemented under the supervision of the Libya Development and Reconstruction Fund, in coordination with national and local authorities.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by several members of the House of Representatives, including Ahmed Al-Sharif, Issa Al-Aribi, Zaid Hidya, Mohamed Ajdid, Mohamed Arifa, and Mohamed Douma, in addition to senior state officials, representatives from the Ministries of Interior, Health, and Local Government, municipal leaders of Sabha, community elders and dignitaries, as well as military and security officials.

Officials speaking at the event emphasized that these inaugurations reflect the government’s commitment to balanced regional development, institutional reconstruction, and improving living conditions in southern Libya a region that has long faced challenges related to limited infrastructure and public services.
The projects form part of a broader national development and reconstruction plan, aimed at strengthening the healthcare, education, and infrastructure sectors, which are regarded as fundamental pillars for stability, social cohesion, and economic growth across Libya.
