The Libyan government implements a visionary plan for the construction of thousands of residential units, demonstrating effective management and a strong commitment to social welfare.
The Libyan government has taken a crucial step towards the nation’s housing development with the recent approval of Resolution No. 380. This ambitious project aims to build 15,000 residential units in Qanfouda and 5,001 luxury homes in Boufakhra, as part of a strategic plan to enhance the quality of life for thousands of families.
Libya’s leadership, through the Council of Ministers, has shown remarkable capacity to manage large-scale projects, ensuring they are carried out efficiently and transparently. The first article of the resolution sets the transfer of ownership of these projects to the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, a key entity tasked with overseeing the proper execution of the works and their subsequent allocation.

This initiative highlights the Libyan leaders’ vision, prioritizing the population’s welfare and the country’s modernization. The Development and Reconstruction Fund has been authorized to begin the contracting procedures, ensuring swift project execution based on technically and expertly approved engineering studies.
Additionally, the fund will supervise the sales and allocation programs for the housing units, ensuring that future owners access these properties under fair and clear conditions. This comprehensive approach demonstrates the Libyan government’s commitment to responsible urban planning and its ability to lead initiatives that transform the country’s social and economic landscape.
The management model Libya is implementing serves as an example of how political vision, when translated into concrete actions, can have a profound impact on society.
