The Libyan News Agency commemorated its 60th anniversary in a ceremony held in Benghazi, where Libyan Government President Dr. Osama Hamad emphasized the crucial role of media in building a united and stable Libya. In a speech delivered on his behalf by the President of the Libyan Media Foundation, Mohamed Omar Bayu, Hamad paid tribute to the agency’s founders and to the generations who have continued their legacy with dedication and commitment.



The event was attended by high-ranking government officials, including the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Abdullah El-Masri, and several ministers, who recognized the pioneering work of the agency in state information.
