- 135 spinal curvature orthopedic surgeries.
- 550 corneal implants.
- 1,600 retinal surgeries and 1,200 cataract (blue water) operations.
- 25 pediatric cochlear implants.
- 1,600 eyelid and tear duct surgeries.
Additionally, the program included the establishment of a specialized department for root implants and the inauguration of the kidney transplant department at the Benghazi Medical Center.
In his speech, Minister of Health Dr. Othman Abdel-Jalil presented a documentary illustrating the success of complex procedures conducted in local hospitals, emphasizing the collective efforts of Libyan medical professionals. “This achievement marks a milestone in our mission to ensure healthcare justice and ease the economic burden on patients and the state,” he affirmed.
