The Commander-in-Chief of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces, Marshal Khalifa Abu Al-Qasim Haftar, accompanied by Prime Minister Dr. Osama Hamad and the Director General of the Libyan Development and Reconstruction Fund, Engineer Bel-Qasem Haftar, conducted an inspection tour of strategic projects across Benghazi.



During the visit, the delegation assessed progress at the University of Benghazi, including the Central Library, the Faculty of Arts, and other university facilities, as well as at the Pediatric Medical and Surgery Hospital, the Women and Maternity Hospital, and the El-Galaa Teaching Hospital for Surgery and Accident Care.



The group also visited the Jalyana district development project, reviewing the construction and infrastructure phases completed by local teams. Attendees highlighted the vital role of the Development and Reconstruction Fund in modernizing higher education, improving healthcare facilities, and promoting urban development projects, emphasizing its contribution to strengthening national capacity and enhancing citizens’ quality of life.
