Marking a day focused on security and international cooperation, Libyan Prime Minister Dr. Osama Hamad inaugurated the International Expo on Security and Surveillance Equipment in Benghazi. The event, attended by his deputies, Dr. Khaled Al-Asti and Mr. Ali Qatrani, brought together over 25 local and international companies in the sector, emphasizing the importance of innovation and global collaboration in addressing security challenges in the region.



During the inauguration, Dr. Hamad, alongside his representatives, toured the exhibition hall and visited the booths of participating companies, showcasing advanced solutions for public safety and road protection. The Expo serves as a crucial meeting point for both local and international stakeholders, fostering the modernization of security systems in Libya and strengthening its road infrastructure.



This event highlights Libya’s growing interest in enhancing its security and surveillance capabilities, in line with the country’s broader modernization efforts in key areas. Among the companies present were innovators offering everything from advanced surveillance systems to traffic protection equipment, a critical sector in ensuring the safety of Libyan citizens.
