Libyan Prime Minister of the Government of National Unity, Abdulhamid Al-Dabiba, participated on Friday in the fourth session of the 2025 Antalya Diplomacy Forum, following an official invitation from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. The event, which gathers leading global political figures, served as a platform for Libya to reaffirm its role in international discussions on security, cooperation, and development.

On the sidelines of the forum, Al-Dabiba held a series of high-level bilateral meetings, including with President Erdogan, Chairman of Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Syrian President Ahmed Al-Shara, and Qatari Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani. Discussions focused on regional cooperation, joint projects, and the evolving political and security challenges across the MENA region.
A key moment in his agenda was the meeting with Rosemary DiCarlo, UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, where both parties discussed the role of the United Nations in supporting Libya’s political roadmap. They reaffirmed the need to continue backing a peaceful, democratic transition that ensures institutional stability in the country.

The Antalya Diplomacy Forum has established itself as a global strategic platform for dialogue on today’s most pressing challenges, with the participation of heads of state, ministers, representatives of international organizations, think tanks, and academic leaders.
Through this active participation, Prime Minister Al-Dabiba aims to position Libya as a relevant actor in the evolving regional geopolitical landscape, reaffirming his commitment to diplomacy, cooperation, and multilateral dialogue.
